Investment Rates
Initial Intake Session
The initial intake session rate is $175 for a 75 minute session.
Individual Therapy
The individual therapy rate is $150 for a 50 minute session.
Group Therapy
The group therapy rate is $50 for a 75 minute session. Each group member has to complete an initial intake assessment before group therapy begins.
Couples Therapy
The couples therapy rate is $165 for a 60 minute session. Each individual in the couple has to complete an initial intake assessment before couples therapy begins.
Insurance
I am happy to provide a superbill if your insurance offers reimbursement to you. You may also use an HSA/FSA to pay for therapy.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not cancel your scheduled appointment at least 24 hours in advance, payment for the full cost of the session will be required.
Sliding Scale
I offer limited sliding scale rates based on income, please reach out to see if there are any slots available. I'm happy to work with you to keep therapy affordable.
Why am I not on many insurance panels?
I value being able to discuss and plan with my clients their treatment so that it can help them best achieve their goals, and doing that in a way that also protects their privacy.
Insurance companies usually dictate important clinical decisions like length of treatment, frequency of treatment, and treatment modalities.
They also require a mental health disorder diagnosis for reimbursement, which means a diagnosis going in your permanent health records, and sometimes they even ask for session notes for reimbursements, which means you losing your privacy.
I prefer working for you, not the insurance company. Having the freedom and flexibility allows me to use the time to actually focus on you, not on what the insurance company wants.
